The Rhode Island Burn Center at Rhode Island Hospital
has been caring for patients with burn injuries and their families for decades. Our burn patients come from all parts of Southeastern New England. The Burn Center cared for the majority of survivors of the Station Nightclub fire in 2003. This event inspired the Burn Center’s desire to pursue
national center of excellence designation. The Burn Center is now an American Burn Association (ABA) verified pediatric and adult burn center and is the only burn center in Rhode Island / Southeastern Massachusetts.
